Scholarships

The American Bank & Trust, in partnership with the South Dakota Bankers Foundation, is offering seven $500.00 scholarships for 2010 graduating high school seniors.  Scholarships are awarded on the basis of academic achievement, character and community service.  These scholarships are a part of South Dakota Bankers Foundation and American Bank & Trust's ongoing commitment to education.

The successful applicant must attend a South Dakota college, university, vocational school or community college.  Applications are also available through each high school.

Past Scholarship Recipients

Recipients of the 2009 American Bank & Trust Scholarships were Kasey Younie attending Dakota State University, Padyn Scheer attending Lake Area Technical Institute, Alexzandria Metzinger attending Dakota State University, Katie Schaefers attending SD School of Mines & Technology, Trevor Hupp attending South Dakota State University, Maggie Todorova attending the University of South Dakota, Brett Kopfmann attending the University of South Dakota, and Teresa Schnetzer attending South Dakota State University.

Recipients of the 2008 American Bank & Trust Scholarships were Lexy Kenobbie, Andrew Herdman, Angela Morgan, Lacey Hofhenke, Chris McHenry, Luvie Williams, Marissa Marshall, and Autumn DeBoer.
